"Iannis Xenakis 1922 - 2001"
The Mythos Musician 20 years later...

The Philharmonic Society of Patras Conservatory and the I. Foundation & E. TOPALIS", they co-organize and invite you to watch a tribute to internationally renowned Greek musician Ianis Xenakis, on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 7 p.m. M.
The event will include:
a) Lecture by the Professor of the University of Patras, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Giannis Murtzopoulos, on the topic: "Three meetings with the work of Iannis Xenakis".
b) Lecture by the Civil Engineer E. M. P., critical & historical of Music, George Monemvasitis, with the theme: "Iannis Xenakis, the engineer, the architect, the antagonist."
Works of Xenakis will be performed by the soloists: Tania Sicilianou, violin and Panos Thoidis, percussion.
The tribute will end with a screening of a Documentary on I. Xenakis (departure from ERT).
The event will take place at the Concert Hall of the Philharmonic Society Conservatory of Patras (R. Ferraio 7).
Those who wish to attend the event (entrance is free), must make a reservation by phone at 2610-277740 by 13.00 on Monday 20 December 2021. Half of the positions are intended for students of the University of Patras.
It is necessary to show a vaccination certificate or disease certificate, with identity control. Minors 11-17 years old receive a certificate of negative rapid-test in the last 48 hours.
